How Many Schools Did You Apply For?

I'm almost done with my pre-nursing courses. And because nursing applications deadlines are coming closer and closer, and I was wondering how many schools I should apply for. I just don't want to only apply for a couple of schools and not get accepted, when if I applied to such-and-such school I would get accepted. I know many people don't get in on their first shot but how many different schools did you apply for before starting a nursing program?

I was going to apply to four programs 3 adn and 1 bsn. I took a chance and applied to the BSN program and got in, Thank You Jesus :)

Specializes in Nursing Education, CVICU, Float Pool.

I applied to 3 ADN programs and got accepted into all of them.

One, early admission application. It never occurred to me to apply to another one since that was where I wanted to go, and I couldn't bear the idea of not getting a response until April 15 (the traditional college-acceptance day in those years). I knew by November of my senior year where I would be the next fall. Load off my mind.

I was planning on applying to 3, but I applied to one (entry level masters) and got accepted right away..

Applied in 3 ADN and 2 BSN. Got in all 3 ADN. waiting to hear from the BSN ..(finguers crossed!)

I am applying to six BSN programs in my state for this fall. I just finished sending applications. Hopefully at least 1 will take me!

Specializes in Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgical.

Only one. I figured I had a pretty good shot.

I applied to two and I got accepted to both as well. It was my first tile applying too.
