I just want some insight on everyone else's experience.

I live in the suburbs of Cleveland, and it takes me about 30-45 minutes to get to my lectures/clinical sights depending on traffic.

I'm not in nursing school any longer, but there's a reason behind my user name. :)

My commute was 95 miles one-way (190 miles round trip) between late '04 and late '05 when I was attending a 12-month LVN program in southern California.

My commute was 225 miles one-way (450 miles round trip) between early '09 and early '10 when I was attending an RN bridge program in central Oklahoma. I was living in North Texas at the time, but kept an apartment near the school in Oklahoma for the times when I wouldn't or couldn't return home.

45 min to an hour depending on traffic. And clinicals might be even further.

Not to far

I live on campus, so it's about a 5-20 minute walk to my classes, depending on where they are.

As for clinical, I start them this semester and I don't have my assignment yet, but of the main hospitals that the school uses, one's about 30 min away, and another is about 45 minutes away.

About an hour and twenty, depending on traffic :) I won't know about clinicals until they get schedule, but they are all over, with the closest being about an hour away... With 3 kids at home, I look at it as much needed down time. :)

I did have a 1 hour commute but decided to move closer to the school to save money. Nowadays you spend a lot of money on gas. Plus the rent was cheaper. All around it saved me money. I'm very happy the way it worked out.

Oh, I have a 10 min drive to school now.

For clinicals this semester, it took about 1 hour to get to one clinical and then 1 hour 30 minutes to get to the second one. Lectures were 5 minutes down the street but since I moved it's about 30 minutes away.

It takes me about 15 minutes to get to school. My closest clinical site is 10 minutes away and the furthest is 20 minutes. The university where I hope to get my BSN is only 5 minutes away. I'm so grateful I got into the program I'm in, otherwise my commute would be closer to an hour.

It takes me 45 min to get to college from where I live. Right now I was lucky and was asigned for clinicals to a hospital that is only 10 min away from home.. But for the next semesters I know I'll probaly have to commute an hour or more to get to my clinical sites.
