How hard is it for new nursing graduates to get a job as a nurse? I do not want to work in a nursing home or a hospital, only a clinic. I would prefer to work in dermatology, ophthalmology, and especially anything cosmetic related, such as at a medical spa or plastic surgery clinic.

At the present time, it is quite difficult to find a job as a new graduate, although I don't have any statistics. It depends on the area you live in- some areas have more opportunities than others so you might try asking this in the state forum where you wish to work. Working in a clinic setting, you might find less competition, but nurses have had to apply everywhere just to find work, and I'm sure that clinics are getting a lot of applications too.
You might see if you can get an entry level position (secretary, file clerk, etc) at a clinic where you might like to work so that when you graduate you can be promoted to a nurse position.
