Yep. Every time I want to quit I just look around my classroom and think I'm sorry, but if they can, then I SURELY can as well.
I've done this, too!

^You'll find a percentage if people that can move past the adolescent stage of development; it's not just in nursing...it's life...*shrugs*
I would have to disagree.....I worked in Finance for many years...and I have never been around so many evil, ego maniacs in my life....it scares me that this is what nursing is.

^You can do that...I've been enough out of the nursing bubble and have enough of a network where there are those people you described are outside of nursing. It's not solely nursing....It's in Finance, IT, Teaching, Real Estate, even in families, lol...you name a profession, I'll have a similar story. People have traits and tics that can clash with people. I've learned that the only person I can control is me.
True........getting an 89% on my final helped as well...
...I guess just knowing that once you are a nurse....none of this will matter-the drama, the bs....that's what will keep us going.

If I quit now, I know I would regret it for the rest of my life. I keep telling myself that the madness of nursing school is temporary. I celebrate each small victory - passing a test is cause for celebration! I also surround myself with fun, positive people. We support and encourage each other, through the good and bad times. Failure is just not an option for me!

We all went through this. I'm in my final year and I'm glad I stuck it out.
