I plan on attending the National Student Nurses Association ( NSNA) Nov.10 - 13. Mid year conference held in Louisville,Kentucky. Just wanted to know who else plans on attending. Would like to hear from you. Louisville looks like a beautful city.

No one from my class is going to KY, but there's a bunch of us going to Baltimore in the Spring!!!:wink2:

Hi there! I'm from KY and can tell you that Louisville is a great city! I ran into an RN the other day and she said she was starting a all weekend/night shift at St. Jude in Louisville and they were paying $100 an hour for RN's there. I couldn't believe it, but she seemed like a nice trustworthy lady so I don't think she was lying. She said they needed people there so badly that they're recruiting from all over KY.

I thought of attending the Maryland conference especially since my daughter attends school in Potomac,MD... I'm just not sure what my school schedule will be like in April. From what state is your group comimg from? Hope you have a great time :balloons:

I am not sure of the dates but Louisville is where we are going. I attend school/live in Kentucky so I would just like to say welcome & enjoy our state.I will check on the dates & let you know. :)

Churchill Downs has just undergone a big face lift...they say it is really pretty.Also if you get the chance go to Lexington that's where all the beautiful horse farms are..Keenland & the Kentucky Horse Park are there too.

I live farther south in a rural area so when I go to Louisville it seems as big city to me as New York would to others! :lol2: Most of the people are really nice & friendly. I hope you have a great time!
