Xalatan is latanoprost. It is eyedrops. OS means both eyes. Try looking up latanoprost, my book has it under opthalmic agents in the appendix and doesn't go into much detail.

Whenever I have problems finding a drug...especially new ones....I use the internet and just put the name in the search. I've had really good luck doing that.

OD is right eye, OS is left eye, OU is both eyes.

The only "TSH" I know of is thyroid stimulating hormone. Are you sure that's the right letters?

Maybe HCTZ (hydrochlorothiazide)? I don't know of HZTI, can't find it in any of my books, either.

YOU are so right on the left eye! Oops.

As for the rest of the letters, I thought thyroid for TSH also and the others were a mystery.

I was thinking the same thing summer, HCTZ. I do not have that other med in my books either.

Another thought is to call a pharmacist, particularly a hospital pharmacist. If there is something new out there that is not in the books, yet, they would know.
