Help! Nursing Decisions

Hello everyone,

I'm really nervous about getting into nursing school. I have a couple that I want to apply to in the South Florida area including Miami Dade College School of Nursing and Nova's program. These are my top two choices. I have an overall 3.4 GPA, and I'm not sure what my science GPA is but I've gotten an A in chem for both lecture and lab, an A in Anatomy 1 for both lecture and lab, and I suspect I will be getting a B in Anatomy 2 lecture and an A in Lab. I do plan on getting an A in Microbiology, which I will be taking now in the summer.

I haven't taken the Hesi or the Kaplan, I do plan on applying for Spring 2017.

Now I was really excited about Nova because I thought it was a great school. But recently I learned that the staff is not very helpful and that scares me because if I'm going to be paying so much money for my BSN, I don't want them to intentionally flunk me to make more money out of me.

I've heard from several people that Miami-Dade now uses the Hesi for everything there's not much practice tests online to help you study. Plus I know Miami-Dade gets a lot of applicants so it makes it more difficult to get in.

If you have gone to either school, please comment down below telling me about your experiences. I'm literally so nervous that I barely sleep and it's really starting to affect me.

Thank you for all your help,
