Hi there hotlooks! Welcome to the board. We always welcome new members here. Just jump in and add your input where ever you want.

We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas and respond to them, but we do not usually respond to "Hi I'm new, talk to me or I'll be mad", or implications that be are biased in our preferences.

And just another hint, maybe you could tell us your real first name? If it's serious chats you really want to be involved in, we'd probably like something else to call you besides hotlooks.

the reason no one has responded to you is because this is not really a looking for love type of chat site...it is a place to post your ideas, concerns, frustrations, insights regarding the nursing field ......get the drift...

hey, i could be way off...that's just what came to mind after reading your post.....

however, in any event, WELCOME :chuckle

There is also the fact that many of us have just finished finals and are allowing our thoughts and brains to wind down.....lurking and not doing much posting while worrying about final grades....

I would have to agree with Robin1970, many of us are busy with exams or just suffering from information overload from studying.

We are a friendly bunch here hope you enjoy the board !

Hotlooks, new members are welcome when they are noticed. I don't speak for others but this is the first post I have seen of yours that you have started on the student nurse board. I have not seen a welcome post on here from you before.

Keep in mind that many people are not on here right now like they would normally be during break because they are in the middle of finals, getting done with finals and wrapping things up and there are quite a few 2002 grads preparing for their graduation within the next few days and weeks here.

If you are here and would like to get to know the people on this board and talk about nursing issues and other issues related to school and work and etc.... I would like to welcome you on here.

Everyone here is pretty nice and friendly and to try keep things nice and civil without causing trouble. It is a great board with many great people.

am new to this has you can see did not set the account right with traceyblueeyes.Have tryed altering it but no luck

no one responding to your first post had sokmething to do with the way it came off in conjunction with your user name. People aren't always going to respond to a hello, I'm here message though, unless you have a question or something they can respond to.
