Getting into Kennesaw State University Accelerated

Hello,

I am looking at applying for KSU Fall 2010 term for the accelerated BSN program. I am finishing my BS in Psychology this spring online and will be taking the other pre-reqs in the next year before I return to the states.

I currently work overseas in Human Resouces but I was a medic in the Army also. I have a 3.0 currently, and hope to get mostly A's in the other pre-req courses.

I was just wondering if there is anything else I should do to better my chances of getting accepted? I would like the accelerated program and live in Marietta, so even going to Rome would not be too bad. I am not sure where Jasper is, I am still new to the ATL area.

If I do not get into Kennesaw on the first try, can I go to GPC for a semester and then transfer or do they prefer to take the entire program only with KSU?

Thanks for all your help - I see many KSU students and grads are already on this site and I hear it is one of the best schools around.

God Bless and Happy New Year

Hello,

Me again =)

I have been doing alot of researching here and on other sites and found EduKan where they offer online labs for the A & P and Chem pre-reqs. I can take the proctored exams on base, but finding the lab to take online has been difficult. It looks like the online GPC courses I was planning on are only the class portion for 3 credits, no lab.

Has anyone else taken courses at EduKan and been able to transfer them to KSU or any other GA Nursing college?

Thanks,

you should post this on the GA nursing board :)
