Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I've posted! Just wanted to stop by and give an update : ) I finished my first semester with a 3.79 gpa! I had 5 A's and a B. Out of the way so far is: Psych 101, Eng 101, Chemistry, Algebra, Freshman Experience, Fit for Life, and my gym requirement. It's been almost 12 years since I graduated from high school, and I'm so happy I decided to go back to school! My next semester starts next week, and I will be taking Eng 102, Math 101, Pharmacology, and a History coorifice. After this, I'll be starting my nursing classes! (Edited for a spelling error)

Hi, more power to you for working full time and going to school, it is tough.
I quit my job to go back to school but have chosen to take out loans to make up for the loss of money, I know it's crazy to some but it works for me and I appreciate not working.
I have 2 kids at home and knew that I would never see them if I did both, this way really works for me and I picked a college that caters to non-traditional students so some of my courses have been only one day a week and they will transfer to the nursing program.
Good Luck with work and school it takes a lot of motivation which you have !!
