I just finished my first semester of nursing school and so far this is my assessment of it. The material itself is not difficult at all, however the amount of work, commitments and appointments you have to keep is what makes it overwhelming at times. My program is very strong, and I'm very happy I chose it among the other programs I got accepted to. There were some classes I took that I thought were a total waste of time because the material consisted of things that I could have gotten from a job. I loved the health assessment class, the pathophysiology class (beefed up A&P), and Adult nursing. In addition to what I already knew before hand, I also learned so much from these classes. Incidentally, I attend the nursing program
at illinois state university.
