Financial Assistance

Does anyone have any experience with or know anything about the WIA program in KY? Particularly Boone County(I heard it varies by county)?
I start the RN program at Beckfield College on 4/6. I'm applying for WIA....I have my first meeting/orientation(??) about it on 3/31. I suppose it's a group informational-type meeting to get started in application process.

It's all handled (in Boone County, anyway) at the One-Stop Career Center off of Ewing Blvd in Florence. They really wouldn't say much about it. So far I just know that if I qualify for WIA, the max is $3500 per year for 2 years, equally dispersed each quarter/semester.

Does anyone know of any other types of grants, etc in KY? I'm a single mom with 3 kids so I'm trying to apply for as many scholarships, grants, etc as I can to help out. Of course I've already filled out the FAFSA, etc, with the financial aide office at the school, but I'd like to lower my total LOAN amount as much as possible.
