So - I just received an email with a financial award letter from MCPHS for their accelerated BSN. I do not want to get my hopes up, but don't you normally receive a financial aid award letter after you are accepted somewhere?

I was just at the school two days ago handing over the last recommendation and transcript they needed. Why would I get the financial aid so quickly???

I'd call up the school of nursing and see if letters/emails with acceptance notifications were sent out. I'd also check your spam folder.

I went on a tour today and the admissions counselor asked me to stay behind and let me know that I was accepted into the program! Very excited on the road ahead!

Hey, I'm at Simmons - just started this summer. I'm sure we'll run into each other. Congrats!

Hey Maahcyjo unfortunately I applied for the Manchester, NH campus...Boston is not my cup of tea :-)

Hello, I have a question for @dtaylor723, if you don't mind me asking: Did you get a financial aid package in the form of grants, or was it all loans? I am applying for fall admission and would love to go to MCPHS but the cost is too much for me to take on in loans, I would definitely need some grants to offset the costs. Thank you.

So because it is a second degree program there are no grants a school can give for them. I did however receive a 6k scholarship for the entire program. I ended up choosing to go somewhere else though as Manchester was just too far of a drive for me.
