Hi. I am planning on entering a nursing program in the fall. So far I haven't seen anything about taking a PAX test until a nusing school friend of mine told me she had to take it! She is going for her associates degree onto bachelors onto RN, whereas, I am going for a 2 year diploma program at the christ hospital school of nursing in cincinnati to become an LPN or RN. Do you think I still need this test? Is it a requirement? I would gratly appriciate an answer! Thanks:confused:

The accelerated program I applied to doesn't require any exams; I've never heard of a lot of these. I think they weed people out during the interview process.

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the advice on the PAX test. With more research, I found that this is officially called the NLN-PAX test. But I also found through your advice and research that only certaing schools require this. Luckily the school I am looking into only requires ACT/SAT scores. Good luck everyone! L:kiss

I'm in an ADN program and we didn't have to take any tests to get in, except for a reading comprehension and a VERY simple doseage calcuation test consisting of 10 questions.
