Do you keep old flashcards and do you have an organized way of storing them?

I have a ton of them, but if I can't think of a decent way to store them I'm a gettin' rid of 'em! Do you think they'd come in handy at NCLEX time? Is there any other reason to keep them?

I use regular paper and cut it for my flashcards, it's cheaper that way...and I make sooo many.

To store, I'll put them in little ziplock bags, label bag w/a black marker.

I use the http://www.flashcardexchange.com/ for my flash cards, this site is great as it allows you to download your flash cards to your PDA using Avantgo (a free site) so I can take them wherever I go!

Specializes in L&D all the way baby!.

Wow Shel a GRRRRREAT flashcard site! Study Stack is my new fav on the web...next to allnurses of course! SO glad I found this BEFORE anatomy class started!

I am considering writing a tool to export data that has been entered at the StudyStack web site to the format required by a flashcard type program for a PDA. If you are already using a flashcard program on your PDA, please let me know what you are using. I'll try to find out how to export the data from the studystack site to that program.

Thanks,

The flash card site I use has somehow come up with a way of interfacing with the Avantgo site to allow me to download my flashcards through their program... I'm sure if you contacted avantgo they would be willing to work with you... good luck

I store my flashcards in plastic index box holders u can buy at walmart

The StudyStack web site can now export flashcards to your PalmOS PDA. Visit http://www.studystack.com.
