Confessions and questions

  1. First off.I have already read my med administration chapter and plan to read my perioperative chapter. Smack me somebody please...lol. Anyways what are you planning to do to relax over your break? I don't go back to school until the 21 of January. I am already bored! This is why I am reading. So what kind of fun things have you got planned beside the endocrine system (which I plan to read soon) lol
Does anyone use the med-surg nursing book by Black, hawks, and Keene? What is it like?

We don't use that book, but gosh, girl, take some time off! That's why they give us a break! We need it! Patho will just have to wait, because I have a lot planned for my break...

    Redo my bathroom
    Repaper my front room
    Paint the kitchen
Catch up on 2 years of scrapbooking
    Make a few quilts
    Play with my kid
    Sleep
Go out with friends I have neglected since August

    Not necessarily in that order....

I am relaxing now but I am planning to purchase one of the best known NYCLEX books to have an idea as to what to expect in the nursing college. I am spending all my holidays with my kids and we are planning to do some fun stuff. School will be re-open on the 6th of January and that semester is going to be fun too because I will only take two exit courses ,because I am done with my prerequisites and waiting.

    Long wait Huh!

I'm with Emily_mom on this one. I'm currently painting my dining room (Red!), trying to finish it before this Saturday for my Christmas party. Next is the TV room, the upstairs hallway, and the front entrance way.

Since I"m lazy that should take me up to Feb. 1st when my spring semester starts.

HOW ARE THE NURSING PROGRAMS IN MARYLAND, AND PENNSYLVANIA?

RED??????? You GO, girl! I want a red dining room, with I think forest green accents.

But I have to graduate, pass the boards, and earn enough cash to buy my dream house.......... 8 bedroom Victorian with a turret.

    Dreams are nice.

I might have to wait till the kids are gone, but I WILL have that house!

    Kristy-

Goodness. With the exception of the quilts and scrapbooking...I would SWEAR you snuck into my house and stole MY to do list. Just change the bathroom to "the stairwell" and BAMMO we're on the same page!

Good luck on getting it all done!

Red is fun. But it takes 2-3 coats plus primer to get it looking good. I didn't know this going in...darn. I'm trying to finish the dining room by tomorrow for my party!!

I figured since this is only a starter home, and not my dream house, I can have fun and paint the walls crazy colors. :chuckle
