All:

- The subject of using flash cards for studying came up the other day.

- Does anyone here use a computer flash card software program?

- What was the name of it and what was is your opinion of the software?

- Did you find it useful?

Thanks,

Hi John,

There was a post about two months ago from Kwagner_51 on 6/17/03.

She mentioned she uses http://www.memorylifter.com

I haven't tried it out yet myself.

John,

I've responded to this similiar question on a couple of threads in this group. I use a program called WinFlash Educator (http://www.openwindow.com) and I really think its a great program. You can create flash cards with graphics, sound, or just basic text cards. You can choose multiple choice, fill in the blank, standard flash card, etc. You can also print them out. There's a feature that allows you to export to several formats so you can download into a Palm or import into a database. I found it indespensible last semester for micro. You can download it and use it for 30 days for free and I think it ~$30 dollars to purchase. Check it out, it beats fumbling around with hundreds of index cards.

Colleen10 & Hobbes:

- Thanks for the info. I will look into these programs.

- I am starting A&P 102 in 2 weeks. Am trying to tweak my study routine - based on my experiences with A&P 101.

Thanks,
