The thought of pens cheers me up and yes, I need to be cheered up today.

Please post what pens make your heart :redpinkhe

Right now I am liking the following:

Pentel Energel

Pentel RSVP (fine)

Bic Velocity Gel

OK, I am a complete and total pen snob! I like the look of gel ink but I hate smearing and bleed-through. The best all around pen is the Uniball Jet Stream...the ink is super dark and even thoughnit is a ball point pen, it writes super smooth like a gel pen.

I recommend it times ten!

I find this thread oddly stress reducing. What does that mean?! Lol!

I am addicted to anything school and office supply related. My favorite pens are the TUL needlepoint fine retractable from office max. Ever since they came out with that line of writing instruments I have been hooked. I carry my writing supplies in a crystal light cylinder container and everyone always comments on what a swell idea that is. I don't tell them but that is my security blanket at school. I keep it within sight at all times! I wish everything in the world smelled like crayons. Brings me back to good times in kindergarten.:lol2:

I also absolutely LOVE office supplies!!

I love Pilot Easy Touch clickables, medium point. Fell in love a few years ago and never looked back. I also always have a Sharpie marker with me at clinicals- I never know when I will need to label something (basin, toothbrush, etc). People are always borrowing it!!

My favorite for taking notes and overall writing is the Precise V5 by Pilot. Comes in all colors besides black and blue which I use to distinguish main points or curious info.

I love those for multi colored writing too.

I also hate felt tips.

I've been having a great time shopping for great deals on office/school supplies. I even found some great name brand highlighters at the dollar store. I also found a great storage clipboard at Sam's club. And I know it's not really the same thing but I love shopping for lunch boxes too. I found an adorable Owl lunch bag Target. School starts Monday, and I can hardly wait to use all my great finds.

I love the Paper Mate Profile, Pilot Dr Grip Center of Gravity Ballpoint Pen, and the Zebra Original F.301 retractable fine ballpoint pen.

I know! Most people prefer thin - but I have noticed those who prefer thin tend to have a light hand when it comes to writing. I press down pretty hard. And my penmanship is very "direct contact" style for whatever reason - I have also noticed those who prefer thin tend to have more of a "printing" style of writing...? Not sure if this would hold up as evidenced based though ;) I hate felt tip pens the most!

I have to have thin because I write extremely small. If I didnt have a thin pen, it would be a giant smudge all across my sheet

Nothing wrong with a curvy pen. Geeeze even the pens need to be anorexic :crying2::crying2: :p

As long as it has a good grip to it, it will do just fine :D

Yeah personally, I prefer a little girth! ;)

That's what I'm talkin' about - it has to be able to cope should I be more forceful than intended in my urgency to get the job done. ;)
