  1. Hello everyone! I Have been accepted into the nursing program at school and have started my Introduction to nursing classes this summer. I will get to start the clinicals in the fall. I saw that there was an earlier post for the previous semester and was wondering if there were any others starting this year? Maybe we could start an email group, or ICQ or something to study with. Along with this course I have A&P , and Medical terminology. Is there anyone out there with a similar load?
I am a single mom, with two toddlers and I also work, so if there are any hints or suggestions for fast learning out there PLEASE let me know. I look forward to hearing from everyone! And Good Luck to Everyone!

    Hey there,

I also just got accepted into the nursing program and in the fall I'm beginning my clinicals. I'm taking all core nursing classes like nursing theory, fundamentals of nursing, nurse practicum. I'm so excited I can hardly wait. I was always looking for someone to buddy up with online just incase I had any questions. If you have any questions about Anatomy and Physiology ask me...I took the class last year. Hope to hear from you again.

Hi, my name is Tracy and I am 34 years old and the mother of 4. I was scared to death to go back to school; in fact it took me two trips to the college to do so. It is the best thing I have ever done. I absolutly LOVE it! I just past Medical Term. with an A. It was a really fun class and the terminology isn't that difficult. Time managment is one suggestion I have for you. It is a very important thing to do. Time for school, shopping, homework, and chilren. It can be done, just stay focused and keep your prioritys straight. I start A&P1 this coming fall along with nutrition. Then the following spring I will have A&P2 and microbiology. Then finally, I will start my clinicals. I already find myself wondering about the boards. Funny huh. Well hey, e-mail me anytime I'd be glad to study with or research things with you. I feel as if I have a real partner out there;with us both being moms and all. GOOD LUCK! Our day will come.

AWESOME! I would love that! This is my second A&P course. Turns out that the one I had taken is no longer accepted by the school I was going to transfer to eventually.<shrugs> figures... So it isnt that hard for me although this one is much more in detail I would say! I think that would be great to do some studying though.. feel free to email me anytime also.

    Hi Angela,
Congratulations on your acceptance. I am 43 and hope to enter LPN school next year. Can you recommend how I should prepare for the exam ? I am taking a pre-algebra class in the fall. I am really stressed out about test taking. Thanks for your help.
