What have you done/learned/accomplished in nursing school that you're especially proud of?

That I have 4 kids and started nursing school with a 4.0 GPA (but now going into 4th and last semester I have a 3.6-Heh!) I have pulled myself up by the bootstraps and worked my tail off to get through this sane! :lol2: I'm proud of my family that helped me make it this far.

i'm especially proud of going into my last year of nursing school while raising 2 boys, one of which has significant special needs. in my old life, my parents told me i'd never amount to anything, that the best thing i could do for myself was to marry while i was young and still had my looks.

well, i did marry young, i have two beautiful sons, and i'm making it in nursing school! there is no doubt in my mind that i'll be a practicing rn 13 months from now. i'm so proud of myself for that.

i also taught a new 16 year old mom about the dangers of smoking crack in front of her newborn daughter as one of my patient teaching assignments. the teenage mom was very receptive and had no clue that this would affect her daughter. poor kids. i like to think that i had made a difference in their lives.

i am so darn proud of all of us, and i don't even know any of you!
