I volunteer in the ED as a student nurse. I don't get to do patient care but I am helpful to the RN's and get to see some things... I want to see how the staff react when a trauma victim comes in..not that i want to see anyone hurt but I want to see what they all do
I volunteer at a Hospital in the ED and it is interesting because you may see some crazy things but it may get boring. If your area has a volunteer EMS then I recommend trying to do that because you get to do more and see more.
