One semester left!!!! Anyone else same boat? We do mainly leadership (we are charge nurse over our clinical classmates, chosing their patients), and psych (we do clinical at hospital here and mental hospital about 30 min away). One of my main problems? I'm class VP, which means major planning for pinning on May 10th. Less than 5 months to go!!! -Andrea

Oh I got it bad too. I just can't wait to be done in May. I am a little depressed though because our school decided that we would no longer have a pinning ceremony in our whites like they always did traditionally. Instead, we will graduate with the whole college together in a cap and gown and look just like everyone else. So, we are planning our own little pinning ceremony. At this point I just can't wait to be done. I hope that I can keep my enthusiasm and study habits up throughout the last semester. Yay to all of us!

I hear ya! I'm also in charge of the pinning, pictures and dedications. It's going to be a busy semester!

Luckily, we're wearing white dresses, but not our uniforms to pinning. We're having a uniform burning cermony after pinning. :) BONFIRE! :p Another biggest problem? (refer to weight loss thread)... The 40 pounds I've gained this semester alone (in addition to the pounds I gained other semester). The white dress I already have is a size 16...currently a size 22! :crying2: The weight loss challenge begins. You know how you mimic what you're studying? Anyone else get heartburn during the GI lecture? lol Well, since we've covering psych, hopefully that won't be happening! I even had dreams I was pregnant whenever we went over OB this summer (that was weird...I dreamt I was shopping, but I was in labor...I wish!) Hopefully no bad psych dreams! -Andrea

Yes!! I always think I have the disease we're studying about. During the GI units I was convinced I had some kind of GI disorder. During the cancer units I was convinced I had some kind of cancer. During the psych units I was convinced I was going crazy (it was just nursing school making me crazy lol). And last semester during our OB units I was convinced I was pregnant. And yep, I'd dream about it all the time!

And yes, I'm definitely ready for this to be over with, just a few short months and we'll be there!!

This is so funny. We are bringing all of our careplans to the bonfire and using them to start the fire with.
