Chanta, how did it go? You haven't given us an update...

Kayakgirl, I'm going back to finish the same ASN-RN program I started. I got my LPN after completing the first year, then life kicked in and I didn't have the opportunity to finish the second year.

I know some people go online, and I have also heard of a local LPN-BSN bridge, but that is far more expensive. I'm just sticking with a traditional program I am familiar with.

I would suggest that you get the official HESI study guide from Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble. I had the Kaplan guide to Nursing Entrance Exams before I got the official guide, and I thought they were pretty different from each other. The HESI exam I took was based very closely on the guide, and everyone I know that took it agreed. Good luck!

Hello,

I did not take the Hesi exam. I need more time. I purchased a book that one of the local colleges recommended. I have yet to even pick it up to study. Not quite that motivated. I was in a car accident 1 month ago and I have been focusing on healing my body. I was not hurt all that bad, but I got tossed around quite a bit.

I have a tour scheduled Friday for Galan. The college is located in Kentucky. I am taking it one day at a time. I will keep you guys posted.

Take care.

Chanta

I am looking into Galan college. My plan is to enroll in the January class.
