Hello Anulevol :0) I know that you have begun your second semester at ECC-Compton and congratulations!!! But whenever you have a moment (and that is probably unlikely soon) to answer a question, I will be very grateful. I have begun taking the required courses to apply to the LVN-RN (Upward Mobility Program) program at Compton this semester. Is the program from 8a-5p most days for the exception of clinicals?

Hi AnewdawnLVN2015,

Clinicals are based on what the hospital or clinical site is offering.

I had clinicals starting at 2pm last semester. This semester I have clinical from 6.45am to 6.45pm. Also, a switch to your schedule can happen the night before. Having the school email exchange on my phone is critical. So you really have to be flexible. Good luck.

Edit:

Your classes in the program depend on when you start. Fall or Spring. Classes are built around clinical and you are assigned your section numbers.

When you go to the required nursing information meeting,(doesn't matter what campus) you can ask questions there.

Goodluck!

Thank you, Anulevol for answering my questions. :0)

I plan to attend the next RN information meeting and I meet with the Nursing counselor very soon.

Thank you again, and good luck in your 2nd semester of nursing school. :nurse:
