2 days and a wake up

  1. Now that I FINALLY got that financial aid garbage out of the way, I start A&P on tuesday. I really hope that my brain opens that file cabinet up and helps me remember alot of it!

Got a call from the director of admissions and he congratulated me on making the Dean's list last semester! I was soooo excited, never had that happen before (making the Dean's list). Hope I can keep it up!

Anyway, I am anxious and know that there are other people here that are starting A&P this summer too....let me know how things go!!

Congratulations on making the dean's list! I also made the dean's list for the last 2 semesters and even though it sounds kind of corny, it means a lot when you know you've put forth the effort. Good for you!

You might remember I'm also taking A&P 1 and 2 this summer. I'm also taking a Dev. Psych class. Anyway, my summer classes started last Tuesday and I gotta tell ya, so far, so good! I'm sure things will get tougher, and it's a lot of reading and studying, but I really don't think it will be as bad as I've heard it can be. The only other science class I've ever had was basic biology in high school 12 years ago, and since you've already had an anatomy class, you definitely have an edge! You'll do just fine.

Congrats on making the Dean's list too!! And yes, you are right, it does mean alot! When I was in High School it didn't really matter to me if I made the honor roll or not...makes a difference now!!

Glad to hear that your class is going well! I took Growth & Development in '85 and really loved that class, because most of it was based on theories and I love to argue theories!! Have alot of fun in that class!!

Keep me up on how things are going!! And I'll let you know how things are here!!

Well, survived the first day of A&P!! We are covering about 2 chapters per day....the entire book within a 12 week period. I'm really glad that I had it before!! It is helping alot!! We have a report due (from a journal or magazine) every Thursday and an exam (comprhensive) every week also!! Not to mention various quizzes in between. So it's pretty heavy duty! I holed myself in my room tonight and hubby kept coming in to make sure I was alright and ask if there was anything he could do. I told him he could quiz me on what was covered today...he gave up after the first chapter!! LOL!! Our book had a CD ROM in it and it has interactive things and tests that really help!!

Anyway, hope everyone else is doing ok! Let me know!!
