Hmmmmm, do we work in the same hospital?? For the most part ours are jerks...w/surgeons being the #1 jerks. We have one that demands his charts be laid out (opened) w/a script pad. Mind you they must be in a certain spot, because he sits only there! We round w/them, (You are expected to know who their pt's are & be waiting in the hall.... and if the pt happens to be in the bathroom when this one goes to the room.....its a total nightmare!

On the other hand we have nurses that are just as bad....they will hang you out to dry in a heartbeat, & suck up like crazy! I am a new nurse & have only worked in this one place so I don't know if this is just how it is. I will admit that I have a lot to learn, but I practice as a professional, & expect the same in return.
