I study best in a small group just 2 or 3 of us. I do not study well at my house I find other things that I think need my attention!! So if I am going to be studying by myself I must go to the library!!

I like to study alone because I tend to get sidetracked a lot and tend to buddy up with people who like to talk so studying by myself works for me at first and then maybe the day of the test go over with other students.

Default Either way...
I prefer to study in a group, but do okay by myself.

Last year when I started nursing school, I had a couple of people that I studied with, and my grades were great even though theirs weren't. At the end of the second semester, one of them dropped out b/c of grades, and the other failed the semester. So, I have no study group now and my other friends aren't interested in studying in a group -- kinda makes me sad , but I'm still doing well in school.

Default study groups
I am quite lucky because I live in a house with four other nursing students, and we can all sit and talk about the course and help each other learn, however we can also leave the living room and study on our own so I have really got he best of both worlds.

It is very helpfull ot have someone who can explain things to you, when you are sat contemplating feeding your book to the fire!!!!!
