Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
hi I took the nclex on the 4th and just got the results today.. I passed! I really thought I was going to fail. I was already planning ahead when to re-register for retake but I guess I don't have to do that.. wohoo I ended up with 75 questions... I got 2 select-all-that-apply, 3 math questions, and I think 2 questions containing pictures, lots of prioritizing, delegation, and infection control. I felt that as if I guessed through most of the questions.. Not really guess but "not really 100% sure" with my answers... I understand the NCLEX LINE people in the other posts were talking about.. that also made me nervous because I know select-all-that apply questions are considered higher difficulty questions and I just got two.. most of my other classmates got 4-8 questions like that.. so in my head I was thinking that I wasn't able to get enough hard questions and that I may fall below the nclex line.. ALSO! @ about question 72 I got a really easy question more knowledge based and I was thinking, MAYBE I'm BELOW THE NCLEX LINE! OH NO! and thought I was going to answer beyond 75 questions but really stopped @ 75. now I believe what people said in the previous posts that most pass on the first try. I did a lot of praying after the test and even before the test.. Also, I did things that took my mind off the test like guitar hero and dvd's hehe.. anyways, I just thank God for allowing me to pass.. all i can say is this (to those who believe in God ~ I just made this up this morning in the shower).. "even though you think you fail, in the END you WILL prevail.. so, don't worry much about the test.. just pray to the Lord and hope for the best*) ~ pretty neat huh?! anyways Godbless to those who are waiting for their results and congrats to those who made it!

hello oji86! congratulations! =) we're kind of the same, i got an easy question towards the end too... it's really important to have fun after the exam. I went to the theme park and enjoyed the rest of my stay in Hong Kong. I'd like to try guitar hero someday! Congratulations again on your NCLEX! =) God bless!

Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
errrrrr, im so nervous! i just took the nclex for the 2nd time on the 8th and im to the point where im feeling completely empty inside! my first test i stopped at 152 and i wasnt too prepared that time.. but this time i read over the kaplan book a good 4 times or so and even memorized most of the drugs in the back of the book so i felt a little better the 2nd time around.. i stopped at 78, but i dunno what to think! everyones passing at 75! 78 must be bad or something!!!! :{
its about 530 and ive checked the brn after their updating and my name didnt show up! :[ im feeling really down about it. im wondering is there anyone who took the nclex on the 8th and has their name showing up on the brn website already?

Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
Hi, I am 52 years old. I passed the Ca. state boards in 1976 and worked 2 years before I got married. I have not worked in 30 years. I recently decided to try to get back into nursing--the first step being- the nclex. Last May I started studying and took the test on Sept 4.2007- After waiting an unhuman number of 5 weeks and 2 days--I see I have passed--with 75 questions. Needless to say, I am very content. Now the hard part starts--refresher courses etc. I would welcome any advice,but I am p̣sting this just in case somebody like me is out there and thinks "it's too late". Well, maybe it isn't...
