Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
I don't understand why we don't get immediate feedback after the test?

Mine stopped at 75 and I passed. You can tell by how hard the questions are is what I was told. If they continue to get harder and harder then you are doing good!

Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
Hello. I just took the Nclex-RN Wed. the 8th. My friend took it Tuesday the 7th. We both got 75 questions. We both took Kaplan and both did well (in the 60's on their tests). I got about 6 SATA, he got about 12. Two others from our school who took it tuesday as well already found out on the BRN website that they passed! We have not! We live in California and can not find out quickly through pearson vue. Both of us just have this feeling that there is no way would could have failed the test that bad (in only 75 questions)! Plus, we were both getting SATA throughout the test, which would mean that we were above the passing level I would think. Our questions were both Application/Analysis questions with only a few knowledge based questions. The only alternative type questions we got were the SATA's. Well, both of us are quite concerned because other peoples have posted and ours have not....anyone have any thoughts? Does it some times take longer than the 3 days that it takes for most people to post on the BRN?

Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
Ok...So I just read about the pearson "trick" Is this thing really true? I just took it 4 days ago, and it says delivery successful under my pearson Account. I tried to register to take it again, and it says that I can not because I have already registered to take the test...how reliable is this form of pass/fail verification?

Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
Will be able to check my results in 3 hours...I feel like my stomach coming up my throat!
Although it stopped at 75, I dont feel too confident...I felt the questions they were giving me were easy, pretty straight fwd questions...but not to say I got em right.....My sister said, I probably thought they were easy but to someone else they are hard.
I got about 3 SATA, 3-4 infection control, few priority questions, 1 calculations, few medications and their side effects...I know I got the last question right...
Im just going crazy here.. | | No. 456 |

Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
I took my NCLEX two days ago. While going through the questions, there were many drugs and diseases on there that I had never heard of, and I began to realize that I was guessing on a lot of questions. Needless to say, when it shut off at 75 questions, I almost had a heart attack. I was CERTAIN I had failed. I left the testing center wondering what I had just done, and why didn't I just study harder? (And I practiced with hundreds of questions by the way....) I was so depressed over the next couple of days, crying and pretty much giving myself an ulcer (and quite a few breakouts!). When I checked my quick results after 48 hours.... I had passed!? The NCLEX was awful and if I had had to bet my life on it, I would have said that I failed. For those of you that just took it, only to come home and google "Fail NCLEX 75 questions" (as I did), I hope that my story will offer you some hope, as I DID pass!! Alexis, RN

Re: 75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?
Hey. So i took my Nclex RN a few days ago and also got 75 questions. i remember slowly clicking the next button on the 75th question hoping that it wouldnt shut off b/c i felt like i didnt know any of the answers thus far. so i clicked and the blank screen came up ...It was OVER and i was soooo upset. anyway, as it turns out, I PASSED so don't get so nervous if you feel like u knew nothing, b/c i think that is the point. as nurses we will never be 100% sure but we know what we are doing and have gotten a great educaiton.. just hang in there until u get your results.. also, try googling the pearsonvue trick thread on this website if you want to ease your mind.
