Well, I took my NCLEX yesterday, and of course I am going crazy!!! Everyone that I know, most of which got 75 questions, 1 had around 100 and another 106, all passed. It appears that the results show up for us 2 days later in the morning. So, tomorrow is my morning so to speak. If it will still happen on Sunday. Im trying to keep busy, unpacking my new house, reading a book for school, but still feel as though my anxiety is through the roof. I had 75 questions, mostly infection control and prioritizing, with a few meds thrown in. About 10 SATA, and only a few that I know I got right. No math questions and 1 put in order question. I looked down at question 72 and felt like I was going to throw up. Felt that way for a while after. I wish there was a true method of determining whether or not you pass before it shows up...I have heard all the stories, but you never really know. Well, hopefully this time tomorrow, I will know, and hopefully I pass. Congrats to all that passed!!!

My test got really hard really fast. A lot of Pharm but in context of a SATA or of a "question the order." Probably 25+ SATA, and about 10 towards the end. A few "put in this order" and tons of infection control, delegation and pediatrics. Oh yeah, and everyone's fave: endocrine. I KNOW I missed some towards the end. And yes, they got difficult then every so often a random easy one (although maybe I just thought it was easy). No calculations.
I did really really well on the HESI, plus did Kaplan online for 2 months and just tried not to stress. I finished my test in about 45 minutes (typical for me), and I feel like I failed, especially in retrospect.

And our transcripts aren't in yet, so we CAN'T GET OUR RESULTS FROM THE BOARD. I could scream.
CA, no quick response. Somebody please intoxicate me now so I don't tear out my hair.

ARTL, very similar to your experience. Except I won't find out for a month.

My exam cut off at 75 questions and it was a slight comfort to me because I could NOT believe that I had failed in only 75 questions considering all the practice questions and prep course and a wonderful BSN program.

Passed at 75 in less than an hour. Wanted to argue with the machine when it shut off because at that point, I had seen words I had never seen before and knew I had made some dumb errors. I credit Kaplan to the success!

Apparently rushing my transcripts was a great idea.
Just looked up my name on the CA BRN this morning, and it's official:
I passed.
I'm gonna go hiking now.

Today I took my NCLEX and had 75 questions. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! I felt like I had just been beat up. I have been crying all night because I know I failed!!! This is the worst waiting period of my life!!! I did the "Pearson" trick and it wouldn't let me register. But who knows if that really works! I really need support!!! I have been praying for days!!! I had a lot of the same questions everyone else had but no math questions. I thought you had to have at least one? This is so bad! How can I keep my mind off this!? Help

Sadstephie, in a few days you will probably have to change your name. I just knew I had failed royally. Would not have bet money on more than one answer I gave at the time I was giving them. I wanted to beg the computer to give me more questions. I looked on line 3 days later and couldn't get in, so I picked up the phone and dialed the number, then a robot came on saying no information available. This continued every 10 minutes until suddenly I got a aq lot of elevator music. I heard it as a dirge. The the robot came on and said "Congratualtions, you have passed!" OMG! I thanked the robot profusely! I was amazed. Three months later I was thinking to myself....."Now why was it that I wanted to be a nurse???" Nowadays I wouldn't trade it, no way, but the first 8-9 months was hell, just as bad as you hear it can be, but the learning curve is steep and the rewards are many.

Take care, and report back!
