75 Questions on NCLEX, pass or fail?

So I just want to know did you pass?

YES I FAILED!!! Found out today and Im ******/discouraged/confused. I hate the NCLEX I do not know what else I can do!!! I studied sooo much the second time and obviously did worse than the first time since I got 75 questions... What a bunch of BS this exam is!!! What do I do??? Keep spending more money to fail! I was crying soo badly all day long..

I know that you are discouraged, understandably, but...I went to nursing school with some extremely smart people, I always felt like they were a lot smarter than me...4 of these people failed the NCLEX 2 of these people failed the test more than twice, today one of those two is working on her masters degree and the other is a nursing school instructor, I haven't made it back to school yet and I passed the first go round...some people become nervous and just don't test well...the NCLEX is not a measure of how good a nurse you are it is a test to see how well you apply what you have been taught. Don't let that exam intimidate you, if you really want to be a nurse fight for it, don't let it go, just because you are discouraged ... you can do this or I promise you,you would not have made it through nursing school. You would have been weeded out long ago.

Thank you so much for the kind words.... I will be taking them over in Feb. sometime, I will keep everyone posted. In the mean time going to try to study with Suzannes plan.

I also FAILED. Thinking that I will pass this time is really an illusion. I took it twice but only improved a little on the 2nd try... It's very discouraging if you failed knowing that you prepared and paid hard for this NCLEX....

I just made an appointment with my nursing school to go over the NCLEX analysis. Also the school told me they will be using ATI from now on. Im guessing they are changing the curriculm because the NCLEX changed as of 4/07... I will be doing Suzannes Plan as well as meeting with school instructors AND getting my paws on as many questions as possible!!! If you ever want to PM me and vent you are more than welcome.. Amigo-Jack plz keep me posted to what is going on with you. Im in the same boat!

oh that's good you're already preparing to take it again. but for me i think I will work first in my country for a year then take it again when i'm ready. It's harder on foreign nurses in the US coz we spend a lot, take 2 or 3 exams (NCLEX, CGFNS, IELTS) before making it to the US. Hope you'll make it on your next exam... Godspeed.

I had heard if the test shuts off at 75 you either passed or there was no chance for you to pass. I thought the test was easy so when it didn't shut off at 75 questions I groaned! It shut off after 76 questions! And I passed.

that's what i felt when i retook it... i'm hoping for another question after 75 but it just shut down and i FAILED... =(
