I got injured at work and I feel like my current employer may not have my best interests in mind. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and am looking for a worker's comp lawyer but am not sure how to go about finding one. Yelp isn't the most helpful in this situation but how do I find a trust worthy lawyer? No one at work seems to have any ideas or connections. Basically I want to make sure that a couple years down the line, I don't want this injury coming back to haunt me. I'm having pain that makes me feel like this might become a chronic issue. People keep telling me I'm "young" as if that's supposed to eradicate my symptoms. But BECAUSE I'm young, shouldn't it be alarming that I'm having this type of pain and discomfort? Some legal advice and resources would be much appreciated. Thanks!
