Has anyone implemented being paid for 72 and working 64? If so, what did this do for morale, burnout, work/life balance, recruitment retention? If implemented long enough, did this have both a positive short term and long term affect on your nurses?

Due to fairly hi turnover on nights due to work life balance we are highly considering doing this for our night shift to allow them one more evening a week to spend time with their family, kids events, improve amount of sleep and reduce, work, ect
