Who/what keeps track of your hours?

Do you use an old fashion time card? Computers? How do you keep track of overtime, holidays, shift differentials, on call etc? Do you ever have discrepancies?

All on computer. We can clock in via computer or scan our badge. We don't get "paid time off." We get paid a certain set amount in addition to our usual hourly pay in lieu of PTO. We get this extra money with every paycheck, so if you call out or ask off for any reason, you don't get PTO because you are already paid this in your regular paycheck. Works well for me, as I don't call out much.

right now we use a sign in sheet, but we are going to Kronos in September. I can't wait. I'm tired of dayshift wandering in between 0705 and 0715 and then I have to wait for THEM to be ready to get report. (not all but there are a certain few I hate to see their name on the assignment sheet with the patients I have).

We have Kronos. The pay stub is so complex I honestly can't read it at times.

There are columns for week one and two. Overtime. Differential for week one and two. Differential for evenings and nights. A net and a gross column. ETO used. That column confuses me because the total is cumulative. It makes me tired just thinking about it.

I long for the old days when pay stubs listed every single day you worked with in and out punches.
