It's feeling kinda lonely without some of our fearless leaders and their sage advice. Is any one else feeling this way?

I thought I was the only one who felt their absence.

Sadly there are new posters are still seeking out threads to spread their nastiness when the wise ones (not necessarily old vs new just knowledgable/articulate/experienced) write the truth and offer insight. It's pretty sad. There was one earlier today that sought out GrnTea but for no other reason to be mean...

Yes I read that. I thought about commenting but then thought those types of posters should be ignored. They will get bored and give up. What do you think?

Terrible, just terrible. I hope the AN mods are all working together to purge these kinds of posters. Our vets have wonderful vantage points that some just don't seem to understand and can't appreciate.

Hopefully they come back to share their wisdom (I know they're watching!!!) :saint:

AN is a great resource but I DID notice that things were getting heated around here more recently, and still continuing AEB some of the current threads. I would need to step back to if I was getting reamed all the time too! Actually I'm pretty sure I was called illiterate today.

i think we all should just do our best in the interim to keep this place positive, honest and respectful and hope to not catch fire.

Too bad I didn't see it. Might have lured me out to smack someone....then again, maybe it's GOOD I didn't see it :speechless:

You don't think that other situation is phony at all?

Possibly, but I think some posters sign up and think that this is a homework help line or something, and bypass the TOS altogether, meaning, they have challenges of reading comprehension, or even worse they are ones apt to sign on ANY dotted line without reading....:whistling:

Ah, well that's a little scary if they are really nursing students. I'll be interested to see how this shakes out and I won't comment any further. Thanks for the explanation.

If it was a Friday night, yes. Lol if that makes any sense.

im trying to assume its a young'in who doesn't really "get" the style of forums. It's coming in as text/instant messaging speak. Unfortunately for that poster AN is not "instant"
