I have a question for the polls I haven't seen here yet.

Where do you nurse, hospital/homehealth/hospice/nursing home/ clinic?

Second question what is your speciality?

Me, I work in a clinic where we deal with cancer patients from dr visits to chemo therapy and everyrthing in between and beyond.

I work in a 100 bed facility that is getting ready to expand,on the medical-surgical unit. :p

I think I work harder than I have in years, to be truthful.

I work at our local county jail. I'm the only nurse and when I left tonight we had 284 inmates.

Hospital ER.

I work at one of the state hospitals-acute psych-mostly schizo/bipolar/borderline. I love it! Can't imagine doing anything else!

Specializes in Gerontological Nursing, Acute Rehab.

A large Mennonite facility that includes independent living cottages and apartments, assisted living and skilled nursing. I work in the 62 bed skilled nursing unit.....love geriatrics, looking into becoming certified as a Gerontological nurse......have to see about how many CE's I need.....such a pain!

I have recently started a new specialty in oncology/hemetology at a leading cancer hospital here in the midwest.

I did Med/Surg for 11 years prior at a level 1 trauma center.
