I work in an office with a group of retinal specialists, doing IV infusions for angiography and for laser treatment. I'm the only RN (actually, only nurse of any kind) in the office. I'm responsible only for myself!- Previous job was as RN coordinator for a large IVF clinic, where it felt like I was responsible for everyone and everything.Love everything about this new job!

I'm on a hospital telemetry unit that also does stroke and med-surg for the >60 set.

The new name for this diagnostic mishmosh is "Progressive Care" and we have to take a very intense course that teaches us a lot of patho, meds, and stuff for the typical diagnoses we'll see on the unit, such as CHF, MI, pneumonia, sepsis, and stuff like that. Oh, and we have to know how to read EKGs. ACLS training doesn't hurt either.

Yeah, I love it. I'm just a sucker for a good time. :chuckle
