Are you saying that you had to apply to nursing school twice? (me being naive and still doing prereqs)

I have wondered if that is something people have to do....and if you have to do that do they (ouch) make you pay those application fees again...
Yes! you have to pay the app. fees all over again, they don't go away.
some schools will keep you on file if you say your going to reapply the next term, ut-houston does, but twu- in houston does not you have to resubmit everything...

Its a good thing I didn't read posts like this prior to applying to nursing schools, I would have stressed way out. I have a respectable GPA, I applied, stayed in close contact (annoyed the hell out of) the admissions aoffice, and i think they were afraid they would have to deal with me for another year if I didn't get in

Hi! how is it possible to have 4.99+/103% GPA?? If someone could explain that to me, it would be greatly appreciated! I live up in Canada and here no such thing exists..that i've heard... Thanks![/QUOTE]

Yes. It is possible. If you make all 100%'s and do extra credits.

I assure you Magna cum laude is always above 100%

The problem is that the computers really cannot understand anything above 100%. I guess it is figured by hand. But yes it is possible.

I will do anything just about for an extra point or 2!

I used to date a guy who was Magna cum laude in high school, college, and for his masters. He was much higher than 103%. Now he never could sleep because he was thinking all the time...but talk about brilliant. If he was even on the Bell Curve I would be surprised.
