What are you thankful for today?

*My much beloved friends and family--they give me strength when I have none left....
*My poor hubby, who has put up with more than any mere saint would ever dream of going through
*My health, because not everyone has that
*My faith, because it's the very foundation of who I am
*God, because with Him, all things are possible

6. The RN after my name...woohoo
7. The fact that hubby, daughter and I all have jobs in this economy. Son should have one soon
8. Freedom
9. Very thankful for all those individuals who have served or are currently serving in our military

I am thankful for the 8 week old, 2 lb. baby kitty in my lap that we just adopted over the weekend. She and her sister were dumped off at the local Petsmart in September, and a local rescue group took them in, bottle fed and loved them, then put them up for adoption. I get to be her mama! She is all sweetness and light and life. Her name is Coraline.

The opportunity to be able to just sit and type these things on allnurses....even though I don't post a lot, I have been a member for years and love this board!


Cheers, everyone...I always try to remember, someone somewhere is worse off than I am. It is nice to remember the blessings we do have

I am thankful I am not as sick as I was yesterday!

I am thankful for my daughter who will be turning nine soon, my two kitties coco and zoe, my parents who support me through everything, my heart which is working better now thanks to the surgery I had to fix it, my health returning to normal (had a rough 2009 w/ sickness and surgery) faith to believe I will find a job again, (been out of work f/ 8 months).

Thank you for this nice little reminder to always be grateful! I'm thankful for:

-My friends and family
-The outdoors
-My home
-My 2 jobs and the opportunity to work in a profession that I love
-My airway
-My breathing
-My circulation

I am thankful for good health and being able to enjoy a new day
For my husband for being patient with me and wanting to know how my day was
For my 3 children, who bring so much joy to my life
For my family and friends for putting up with me
For my job and in a specialty which i enjoy
And most especially to God who made all this possible and is always present in my life
