What is your passion?

Without a doubt, we are all great nurses, whether it be BSN, ADN or Diploma.

My question for all of you is "What is your passion"? What non-nursing dream sets you apart from the nurse next door. None of us are one dimensional.

Researchrabbit and delirium are to be seen in the future on the New York Times Best Sellers List...

Where do you see your secret dream taking you in the future????

I always wanted to be a professional singer....not songwriter, as I suck at that part, but to record songs, love songs expecialy.... that'd be cool! I'd love to get paid to do something so invigorating and relaxing at the same time. Maybe a christian artist? I love contemporary christian songs.

Believe it or not my main passion is related to nursing - I would love to have my own practice as a CNM.

Outside of nursing?

Singing ain't too bad a hobby (I sing at church and we dabble as a group - never performed for real though)

I also like to write, I actually have a "book" started.

I crochet and quilt for fun - it isn't fun when it's a "have to" though.

Almost forgot, I would like stool in Heather's shop too!! :D I'm a great taste-tester!!!

I love to scrapbook and write short stories. :D Actually, I'm quite addicted to scrapbooking...........

It seems I am too busy working and raising kids to be able to do what I want to do. I would love to be able to have more time to sew, do scrapbooking, and other fun crafty things.

My ultimate (current) dream is to learn how to quilt while sitting on the beach at my retirement condo!

I would love to write professionally. Not sure if I have the patience for writing novels, but I do like poetry and short stories.

MomNRN, I'll teach ya if you invite me to the condo!

Someday I would love to invent a device that would attach to the bottom of my esophagus and exit through my skin and would allow me to eat all the chocolate I wanted though never entering my tummy!!!! Maybe something like a "double-lumen esophagus". Use the real one for healthy things and the artificial one for treats!!:roll :roll

That aside, I would love to devote more time to playing the piano!

NurseGirlKaren - I would be happy to invite you -- when I buy my condo! Of course I have at least 20+ years till retirement!:chuckle

We will be spending 2 weeks at Easter at our favorite beach, so I'll be looking for the perfect condo!

HMMMMM....my dream would be to live in an old country house (think "Bridges of madison county") .....in a little country town....Have some kiddos.......be a PTA mom......make cupcakes......decorate my house....maybe have some sort of little business on the town square....................................................................... I have simple dreams

Not a dream, but my passion has always been music. I've got literally thousands of CDs, records and tapes. Been this way my whole life. Always listening to music, going broke collecting music. Making bootleg CDs is a late 90s thing I started, but still buy/collect CDs. I still buy old vinyl.

I'm pretty good at music trivia too. There was a question on "who wants to be a millionaire" about music that would have one me a million had I been playing.

I should be working in a record store somewhere, but I guess it's good that I don't because they are going out of business and style.

Too bad I can't sing either.
