nights at 32 dollars an hour with differential and occasional charge pay...Thats after 20 years or so in one place. STILL not nearly enough for what I (we) have to do or the skills we have. Best thing that happened to our salary was the MNA.Started in the facility after negotiation to make a little more for the experience I had, and made 8 dollars an hour....So, there has been progress...

    What the heck??

I take home $1400 US dollars q 2weeks. Clinic setting.
About $600 in taxes is taken out q 2 weeks.

My husband and I paid about $25,000 in taxes last year. According to a recent article (I'll have to find the source, but it was on the Fox news.com) my husband and I, having no kids and a dual income, pay about 50% of ALL taxes in the US, as our incomes suddenly constitute what is considered "affluent."

    CRIPES!

as a LPN in a small town nursing home my usual take home pay is about $800 q2w.

but then thats what LPN stands for: Low Paid Nurse LOL

I gross about 1.300.00 q 2 weeks but I bring home about 925.00 after I have the family insurance and taxes deducted. Still for an LPN this ain't bad gravy! I think for the amount of butts I cover w/ my charting, mine being the 1 st, I am worth about 2 bucks more an hour ( in my mind:chuckle :chuckle ) Laura LPN--shift diff & weekend diff are wonderful things

I take home about 1000 -1200 $ q 2weeks net. 4 years experience. I thought nursing in Minnesota was well paid, but from the sounds of the other posts I am not sure. 3000 q 2 weeks ?, sounds great......
