What if a hurricane hit your facility while you were there?

I have never been in a hurricane. What do you do if one hit? Do you have any experiences, I would love to hear them. Thanks

Mostly, we don't get horrible things happening when we are at work where we're supposed to be. Hospitals are structurally sound. Thankfully, the worst things I've had happen was losing HVAC and it being really hot. And having to go to aux power, which is an inconvenient thing, but not a catastrophe. You figure it out.

The biggest thing is just getting your own stuff at home ready, getting your family where they need to go, and getting to the hosp on time.

I live on the MS Gulf Coast...so I've been there and done that. We have protocols we follow but we've always managed well.
