Weekly pay?

  1. Do nurses in the US get paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly? Or does it depend on the hospital, state you are in or other factors?

:spin: Depends on where you work. I get paid every week, I work for a homecare agency.

What is fortnightly? I get paid bi-weekly, which is every other week here in Texas. Is fortnightly the same as bi-weekly?

I'm from New Zealand, so sorry about the 'fortnightly' expression. It means every 2 weeks.
