Thinking of getting my MSN

Hi all:
I'm currently working in public health and have a BA in anthropology, as well as a couple years of experience doing international public health work in West Africa. I was set on going to school for an MPH degree but decided against it because of my current job which made me realize that I may not be cut out for desk work. Now I'm contemplating nursing-- it seems much more hands on and practical.
I live in San Francisco and would like to talk to new nurses or other young people who may have made a similar decision...or really anyone who can shed light on my situation. This would be a big career shift for me as I have none of the science prereqs and would have to go to community college for a year before applying to MSN programs.
Thank you in advance for your help!
--Erin

Go for it. There are direct entry accelerated BSN/MSN programs available. Best of luck.
