Ladies, my favorite color is blue. Blue in all shades is fine with me! It just seems so "me," somehow! My husband's favorite color is green. Our living room has variegated shades of green in aberber carpet with forest green leather loveseat and sofa. The chair I am sitting in right now is called "putty" and is also leather.

Our bedroom has royal blue carpet. Our bathroom is blue and white. It seems that I really need to have blue i the areas where I relax and sleep!

Our upstairs family room is green, and beige.

That room is where I sew. Sewing helps me relax, esp. when I am listening to music. Thre is a computer and tv and exercise equipment up there, too, so its kind of an area where we do wht we want. That is also were we have a sofa and two easy chairs, and a whole wall of books. I can read books anytime, and lose myself to the world!

cathy.....you and i have the color blue in common. my husband's favorite color is also blue. we have so much in common, yet not enough of the right things in common to be blissfully happy.

his idea of relaxation is going bowling or sleeping. my idea of relaxation is ahem...sex...reading...
listening to my favorite music, hanging out with hubby joking and laughing with each other (which never seems to be in short supply......thank god) :chuckle....not to mention the things i mentioned in my first post already.

i want a home full of blue rooms built on a blue pacific oceanside to live out the rest of my blue days on this green, brown, and sky blue earth. :d

cheerfuldoer, you are terrific! this is one of the things i'm working on this week. it is so fun to hear what others do!

i love the color green, because it reminds me of my beloved evergreen trees, that even if the deepest, harshest winter, continues to give the promise of spring and life.

as for what i do, a light mystery (nothing too violent) is fun. a humourous movie. a walk with my dog. aromatherapy. learning something new (i love to research something). and, i play my mandolin. we've got a mandolin, a piano, and singing. maybe we should start an allnurses band!

Usually I think of the sun and all the fussion, energy waves that get stored on earth and a secret. If I go >72 hrs without achieving a HR=>140 BPM, then I start to bug out. Being health and fit is a double edged sword. I don't know what to tell ya! :-)
