Hi all! I graduated 2 years ago and still have not landed a job in NYC...any advice...am I the only one? I have gotten interviews throughout and most of them seemed to have gone well...I feel like I have reached a dead end...I'm not sure what to do next! Any recommendations?

Uhh... 2 years and not a single job? You are stuck in the middle of not being a new grad yet not having any experience... Are you only applying to hospitals or are you expanding to LTC, Home Health, outpt MD office, etc? If not I would certainly start hitting those places up ASAP. If so, I would reflect on your interviews. You make it to that point, but are struggling to close. Perhaps there is something with that you could improve?

agree with above. are you trying everything? I applied everywhere and to everything. 70+ applications with only 3 intvws landed. and only one successful out of the 3 that landed me a job in a psych unit. it wasn't my first preference tbh but it was an opportunity and I took it.

@NuGuyNurse2b @xoemmylouox thanks for your advice! I actually got two offers today!!! It took a while, a very long while but i'm happy with the offers so now I get to choose :-)

Good luck to all those who are having a hard time finding a job - hang in there, don't give up! Keep applying!
