- 1Apr 29, '99 by MESI was just reading the nursing nessage boards and I have a question. I am going to a two year college for my RN and I am wondering if I will be eligible to train in a hospital for NICU or do I need a BSN? Could somone please let me know if they have any experience with this. I am still new to the whole thing. Thnk you

I WOULD DEFINETLY NOT RULE OUT OBTAINING FURTHER NURSING DEGREES, IT JUST DOESN'T HAVE TO RIGHT OFF THE BAT.
WITH A NURSING SHORTAGE, JUST YEARS AWAY, YOU WILL SEE THAT GETTING A POSITION IN A HEALTH CARE SETTING QUITE EASY.
