this happend to me back in 93, i was 20 at that time. I had 2 paps come back abnl (ASCUS). I was scheduled for a colposcopy. with that procedure it pinched some because they were doing a biopsy, I had that come back abnormal as well and I had to have cryogurgery (they freeze the first layer of skin on your cervix) that was a little scary. When cryo was done i was leaking like a lite period and had to wear a pad for about a week. But that was the best thing that could have happend because i have never had an abnormal pap since. Same here. Try not to stress till you have to (if you even have to) - I know it's easier to say than do, but this is more common than most people know - since we don't exactly walk around sharing that info as lunch conversation ("Little Jimmy just got another tooth." "Oh, that's great. I'm having abnormal paps, can you pass the salt?").
BTW - no need to apologize about posting, sometimes people just freak out and reach out with questions when what you wish for even more is re-assurance (even when you know the rules). Any time we face our mortality, it shakes us up.
