What shoes do you wear that give support and don't chafe?

I've been looking at http://www.allheart.com/dickiesshoes.html at the clogs with strap but their sizing is just way off (small medium large instead of real numbers).

Does anyone know of any sites where you can get affordable crocs or birkenstocks? I have checked out allheart.com. Just was wondering if there were other sites out there.

I love Nike Air..the ones designed for walking...not running shoes

I'm going to try to paste the website. Hopefully it will work. I'm pasting the entire site that will take you directly to the crocs. This is the cheapest website for the "croc" brand that I have found. Hope this helps.

If this doesn't work, just go to www.nofeargear.com and search for the crocs. I love these shoes. They have worked great for me.

Good shoes are an investment that we need to make in this line of work. I love Merrells. I find they outlast Nikes, Reebok and Saucony by years and they survive the washing machine quite well considering they're leather (I tend to drop a lot of non-appetizing things on my toes in the course of a day. My current pair is perforated suede in acid green (I actually get a ton of complements at work)

On and the toes are rigid enought that the the other day my toes survived being run over by a vengeful electric w/c driver.

There are lots of other threads on this topic too, if you want to research those!

My dream is to get Zcoils! But my feet fit shoes so funny (they are extra wide and range between a 9-10) that I would have to be sized in person, so could not order them over the internet. Oh well, maybe I will just have to take a trip down to Florida.

There is a SAS store in the area. If it comes down to it I will get those or Nike absobent shoes.

Now I use a regular pair of Nikes, and they are working ok...for the moment.

Hmm double post.
