I have an opportunity to apply for a significant grant/scholarship and am looking for resources to help write the best essay I can.

Any suggestions?

I suggest writing in APA or MLA format (sometimes the scholarship will specify) and write about the topic required. Use references if needed.

If you have taken a college English course, ask your old instructor if they wouldn't mind reviewing and and giving you pointers or corrections.
