Any of you work for a rheumatology practice? What is your day like? Curious, because someone I know often tells me that his rheumatology nurse is a godsend, to which I nod and say "I know that she is!" (but I really don't know what she does, actually)

Exactly what do you do/administer in the office? Is it an injection or IV start infusion sort of day for you? Or is it an assessment and teach kind of day for you? How do you and the MDs work together? What is your day like?

As a aptient, I just loved my nurses at the clinic. Excellent IV skills are a must! They have to be gentle. My hands are a gnarled mess that hurts all the time. It feels like someone is constantly twisting my fingers the wrong way. Same as my ankles and back. Like I said I loved my rhematoid clinic nurses.
